INDIVIDUAL PROJECT / 4 WEEKS / 2021

The goal of the project was to analyse the existing screwdriver, propose a new design based on the brand, develop the part design using the existing components and create a working prototype. The project alsop challenged sustainability of the product, being easy to repair and refurbishibility.

POLESTAR Screwdriver lies between an automotive and a product design language. While it contaions smooth and edgy surfaces inspired from the car industry and the brand, it also aims to have refined details in the product level and combines those with form elements from POLESTAR's product language.
